Concerts Attended

I thought I would start off this fascinating chronicle of altercations with concerts that I can remember going to. Some are pretty embarrassing, some were great and I'm sure that I will leave some off the list but you gotta start somewhere.....

*Kenny Loggins - The first, and in my mind, I had made it. I think that was 5th grade and he played the fair...I cut loose, footloose.
*Michael Bolton - Also at the fair, questionable to most.
*New Kids on The Block - NKOTB to some. I went with my friend Melissa to Seattle and although I tried to act like I thought they were stupid, I had a great time.
*Richard Marx - Also with my friend Melissa plus Jennifer, in Seattle. We stopped in Capital Hill before the concert to use the bathroom and I saw my first gay kiss. Who knew Richard Marx would end up being so taboo?
*Jo Dee Messina
*Indigo Girls -Free tickets
*Clint Black
*Air Supply - Now that's embarrassing.
*Jimmy Buffett - I might vote for him for president but I'm not sure he would help our world image...just a guess.
*James Taylor - He sounded exactly the same in concert as he did on his live cd....weird how that happens. He was at the Gorge and unbelievable.
*Marc Cohn - He was at zoo tunes and sounded great but many kids needed a spanking that day.
*Bruce Hornsby - Also at zoo tunes, in the poring rain. Mom & Dad are troopers:)
*Tim McGraw - Twice. The first time, not so much. The second time, he rocked.
*Faith Hill - Totally hot.
*The Dixie Chicks - 3 times and great every time.
*Mr. George Strait - Need I say more?
*Taylor Swift - opened for above.
*Ronnie Milsap - Same.
*Rodrigo y Gabriela - A very nice surprise. I had no idea who they were and went with friends. You have to check them out.
*Nickel Creek - Great concert with Ma & Pa for his birthday.
*Alison Krauss & Union Station - For my Dad's next birthday, and it was unbelievable.
*The Police - Most recent concert on a trip to Vegas. I'm sure they sounded exactly the same as they did in the '80s. They were really good and the gambling and company was great.

I'm sure I left some out but my brain only works so well these days. Enjoy:)

Ah yes grasshopper, you have been lucky. By the way, I think the bandit needs to muscle up a bit!

Hmmmm, the fact that you admitted to Michael Bolton is pretty fantastic. Welcome to the blogging world, my friend!

Maybe not so embarrassing now that he has short hair and is dating that housewife. I think he is going to be her soul provider if you know what I mean.

Smedford,

I can tell real estate is keeping you busy with how much work you have put into you blog page. No surprise Bosco made the cut. Did anyone but me notice the slight hint of Lesbian in her blog? See you tomorrow or saturday.

We saw the Police at Key Arena on their latest "reunion" tour - it was great! You have some hilarious stuff on that list. Richard Marx? C'mon!
Rodrigo y Gabriela are awesome.
